About

This blog is all about trendy food, easy food ideas and how you can tackle some ‘no go areas’ in your kitchen. Please do share your comments and any suggestions or recipe requests and I will try my best to meet your expectations. Lately I have also started sharing more about other trendy things such as the places to go to and inspirations.

I’m a Passionate Foodie and Mom that is mad about sharing great ideas and inspirations.

Being trained as a food scientist and gaining  a lot of experience in the Food Industry including working for one of the reputable retailers Woolworths in South Africa has affirmed my passion & knowledge for food.

My passion for food started in high school while I was doing home economics and used to surprise my family Sunday afternoons for a packed Sunday lunch. I have come a long way since then…

Another great adventure in my life was working with movers and shakers at Food & Home Entertaining Magazine as a food editor, now that was such an amazing experience.  I also learnt a lot working at a dynamic environment as an Innovations manager for QK meats, meeting so many inspiring people from SA, UK and Irish Foodies and also managing a team of talented young ladies and gents.

My Motto in life is to strive to be exceptional in everything I do and be the best person that I was created to be without trying to be someone else!!!

What makes me tick at this moment:

I am currently enrolled at the University of Stellenbosch Business School  doing a management development program – I am becoming a better person every second!

I am also working with a group of product developers giving back to community by training the trainers, being guest lectures and conducting supplier visits for the Infinity Culinary Training – visit http://www.ictchefs.org to see what they are all about.

I hope that you will enjoy the blog and find inspiration, I sure look forward to hear from you.

  1. Love your blog. I am amazed that you can fit in a full-time job and still take the time to spend one on one time with your kids
Well done to you, you are inspirational. Love the pictures, I have just had lunch and was contemplating eating some more.
